If a technician claims there is damage, ask for clear photos or video of the issue inside your actual chimney or fireplace. If necessary, get a second opinion.
Out-of-State "Pop-Ups" and Ghost Addresses: Majority of these companies are unlicensed in New York City and disappear once they have your money. Scammers often list NYC addresses that are actually virtual mailboxes. Always verify a valid NYC Home Improvement Contractor (HIC) License.
Paid 5-Star Reviews: Many unscrupulous business owners hire "reputation services" to flood their profiles with hundreds of fake 5-star reviews to artificially boost search visibility. Who We Are

We are licensed, NYC-based chimney and fireplace specialists with almost three decades of experience. Our founder began his career in the mid-1990s, training under the watchful eye of a well-known and highly regarded New York City chimney and fireplace contractor. Over the years, our principal refined his skills while managing a successful Manhattan fireplace business. He has since restored and built hundreds of custom masonry fireplaces for some of New York City’s most prestigious designers, architects, and private clients.

We specialize in masonry-built fireplaces, code consultations, chimney and fireplace inspections, cleaning, and repair. We restore historic fireplaces and build brand-new installations, utilizing expert craftsmanship to design all pattern firebrick fireboxes, including intricate herringbone designs.
